FUTURE EVENTS
THE ABILITY TO MAKE IT HAPPEN

Our history of projects reads like something out of a Mission Impossible script. The only differences are that with us it’s for real. No matter how big, how small, how complex or how tight for time and space, we really do redefine what can be done. If it’s doable, we can do it for you. In fact we may even have done it for someone else already.

Future Events were awarded the contract to organise the unveiling of the Ronald Reagan statue following the successful unveiling of the Sir Keith Parks Monument in Waterloo Place.

The location of the event was in Grosvenor Square outside the American Embassy with the date set as 4th July to coincide with the American Independence Day celebrations.

From a slow start it became obvious very quickly that we would have to take the lead on driving this event to a successful conclusion. With the client based in Washington DC and Los Angeles, California we needed to liaise with the local authorities and the Police.

Due to the nature of the invited guests we immediately applied for a road closure plan to be put in place and attended various meetings with the Metropolitan Police regarding security. During the following weeks further meetings were held with the American embassy security staff where control areas were established and method of approach agreed to ensure the security of the guests attending and the US Embassy.

The total build time on site was restricted by the close proximity of residential houses and other National State Embassy’s. In all we had 16 hours to build the event before the Metropolitan Search Teams secured the area.

I am pleased to say that Future Events successfully delivered the events: the extent of our work was as follows.
